In 1983 OMR purchased a decommissioned church in West Acton’s historic district to house its new architectural studio space.

The historic preservation/renovation occurred in three phases as the company grew over the next several years. A new floor was added to create two stories in the existing nave with the new upper level providing a large, open studio flooded with filtered natural light.

Morning and evening light shines through original stained glass windows, casting a spectrum of color across the studio.
