Franklin Federated Church occupies a 100-year old shingle building on a main street in Franklin, MA. Over time the periodic remodeling of the interior detracted from the space's spiritual quality. Modifications to the chancel and choir loft exposed the original wood ceiling to increase the acoustical quality. Updated lighting and new curved wooden pews improved sightlines. Removal of false panels revealed a hidden set of metal and wood organ pipes, which were refurbished for use with a new organ. This work renewed the spiritual quality of the sanctuary and restored its original uplifting character.

“Words can hardly express the overwhelming positive response...Thank you all for your impressive understanding of our needs and desires, your careful attention to detail, and your mastery of design.” --Rev. Michael D. Scott, Senior Pastor
